Q: Tell us at least one new or unusual thing you’ve done in 2013.

▷ Since I decided to live healthy and eat clean, I started running every week and taking Pilates class.
▷ I also read some adult books (historical fiction), kind of like broaden my horizon and get out of the YA bubble.
▷ I'm official a fan of American Horror Story (absolutely love the third season).

  1. Hopping through. I haven't watched American Horror Story. i keep thinking it would scare me. As for your question about where to start in Doctor Who, I would start with the modern series. It began in 2005. I'd start with Rose, the first episode of that first season. That features the ninth doctor. If 7 seasons is too intimidating, you could start with the 11th doctor. His first episode is The Eleventh Hour in season 5. I wouldn't watch the classic series unless you become a fan of the new series. It's easier to fall in love with the new series and then go back to the classics. That's what I've done.

    2. Thank you so much Alison. I'm so glad that I don't have to start from the beginning =) I'll go with the 2005 season and see how it goes.

  2. I'm happy to see someone else who's trying out historical fiction. I read my very first one this year, and I quite enjoy it! New GFC follower.

    1. Yeah. This is the first year that I'm no longer a student so I kind of go a little bit crazy doing things I couldn't before because of school.

  6. Sounds fun! I started running much more often last year. For a while, I would just try, but I was so bad, that I gave up. But last year I started running every week as well, and now that I'm planning a wedding, I'm trying to stick to it!!

    1. Just keep trying, don't give up. At first when I started running I thought I was dying: so tired and I couldn't even my breath no matter how hard I tried. I hated it so much but I saw how it changed my body so that's why I keep running.
