Never read an angel book before this one, I meant angel theme was not my forte. But since I've heard so many great things about this book, I thought I would give it a try. And I am glad that I did because Unearthly was so addicting. I couldn't put it down once I started. To be honest it took me a few chapters to get into the book but when it did, it's just a breeze through.
Clara sometimes really irritated me because of her actions. But I don't hate her, she's just 16 and too young to have to deal with so many things. I claimed her mother for all the faults though. Her mother kept too many secrets and if she thought that by doing so would keep her family safe then the answer is no. Sooner or later she would have to tell Clara so why didn't she tell Clara now. That way Clara would not have to feel confused or would mess things up. She would be prepared to deal with whatever was coming. Being in the dark is no fun at all when you have no idea what you're supposed to do or if your action would have any effect on anyone or it would screw things up.
Tucker or Christian, seriously I have no idea. I kept going back between those two. Clara and Tucker are perfect together. I totally understand how they were bonded during the summer and the love just came so naturally. It's a slow development but cute >.<. Christian and Clara were supposed to be together, they are told to belong together. However I don't feel it yet, the sparkle wasn't really there. Christian was in love with Kay and the reason he broke it off was because of his purpose. I should have pick Tucker if Clara didn't explain how she felt so familiar with Christian. It's like he's her destiny. So really I am confused and cannot wait to read the sequel to know what is happening. So many secrets and it literally drove me crazy 0_0
Glad you enjoyed it :) I've heard great things about this one too, but I don't know if I can do the love triangle thing going on.
ReplyDeleteI thought I can deal with it too but I was wrong. It was so sad when Clara didn't pick the one I was hopping she would end up with =/ poor guy, he didn't get the girl. But still this is a great series, I just didn't like the love triangle thingie.
