KYLIE: MEXICO WHAT? I should be putting the finishing touches on my valedictorian speech. Graduation is TODAY, and is this a wedding band on my finger.

MAX: It all started with Kylie's laptop and a truck full of stolen electronics. Okay, it was kind of hot, the way she broke us out like some chick in an action movie. But now we're stranded in Tijuana. With less than twenty-four hours before graduation. Awesome.

WILL: Saving Kylie Flores from herself is kind of a full-time occupation. Luckily, I, Will Bixby, was born for the job. And when I found out she was stuck in Mexico with dreamy Max Langston, sure, I agreed to bring their passports across the border -- but there's no reason to rush back home right away. This party is just getting started.

LILY: I just walked in on my boyfriend, Max Langston, canoodling with Kylie Flores, freak of the century. Still, I can't completely hold it against him. He NEEDS me. It's even clearer now. And I'm not giving him up without a fight.

I had a really high hope for this book and thought this would be one of my favorite all time summer read because the synopsis got me hooked instantly. It sounded like a crazy, funny adventure and a cute love story. And yes I did enjoy the plot but Kylie just somehow annoyed me. I liked her when she was around everyone else but when she was with Max, it's just "UGH", she tried so hard and was way too paranoid. On one hand, she did not care what people think of her and on the other hand she cared. Surely Kelly was  so indecisive --hint:when Max told her what everyone thinks of her ( I was screaming inside when I read this "pick a side girl" because you acted more like a B****, total drama queen than Lily.)  I was hope to see an easy going, carefree Kylie and the drink would make her do some mischief but she's just even worse than her normal self.  What I got was an acted Kylie instead of a drunk funny Kylie. And I hate it when someone thinks like they are the only one with issue and everyone else has a smooth, easy life. Geez grow up girl everyone has problem and so don't go around complain or compare that your life is screwed up than the other. Anyway too bad but I do not like her, period.

My favorite character is Will, he's funny and I had a good time when it's his turn to tell story. My bad, forgot to mention at the beginning that this story are told from five points of views (Kylie, Will, Max, Lily and Kylie's brother Jack) The love interest between Kylie and Max,  the authors was telling us they fell deeply in love, soulmate whatsover but really I do not want to go there because I did not feel it. I do not know if I am picky or not but when I read a book I don't want to be told that the characters are in love. What I want is  to feel it, to experience the tension of their love. The only thing I like about Kelly is her grad speech.
