Q: Who is your blogger BFF? Tell us a little bit about him or her? If not tell us why you need or don’t need a blogger BFF.

*whispers* I don't have blogger BFF.
Do I need one?  I'd love to have one but "need blogger BFF" I don't think so.
Sometimes I don't really get the idea of having a best friend. It's nice to have a single, perfect friend who will always be there and lend you a shoulder to cry on etc etc but isn't it also sad if you're not someone's best friend? (since having a best friend means seconding everyone else) I mean why don't we have a lot good friends, why we have to single out one or maybe two friends above all others. So, what do you guys think?

  1. I am trying to think if I have a blogger BFF. And I guess I don't. And I'm okay with that too. I'm from FF by parajunkee.

  2. I don't think that you're "seconding another friend" when you have a best friend, I think that you're just have friends that you're a little closer with on different levels, than you would say a different one. I love my blogging besties and I don't know what I would do without them, because they keep me sane, grounded, and totally call me out on my epic ridiculousness sometimes. lol. Plus, it's a lot of fun, because they so encourage me to always step out of my comfort zone or support me when I need someone there to listen. :)

  3. Definitely not a necessity - you are right! (Although I wouldn't trade mine for anything - I just lucked out that I've known her for years!)

As for seconding a best friend? I've had a battle with that in my personal life lately, so I totally understand what you're getting at! It sucks when we grow and change and while we still consider someone our "BFF" they don't so much return that feeling. (Ok, I'm rambling - I guess I need sleep!)

  5. I think the BFF is the friend with whom you have even more things in common, and who you could call at any time - day or night. Of course, that's a little bit different with a blogger BFF, since I don't call my blogger friends. I e-mail them, or chat with them on FB or on their blogs :)

    Have a fantastic Friday!

  6. Hello. Blog hopping through.
I only have one best friend and I met her in high school. Since then, I've never connected with anyone like her, so I have good friends, and one best friend.
I have followed you via Bloglovin.

  8. Excellent point about making about "best friends" and I totally agree. Saying someone is the best means others are not as good. Well said Amie!

    Happy FF! Old follower.

  9. I love your answer.

I don't think not being a best friend makes you any less significant. In my real life I call one person my best friend because of the length of time we have known each other and have been through a lot together so we share a bond but it doesn't lessen my friendship with any of the friends I've made over the years
