Before this all happened, the closest I'd ever come to getting physical with a guy was playing the board game Operation. Okay, so maybe that sounds pathetic, but it's not like there were any guys at my high school who I cared to share more than three words with, let alone my body.

Then I met Wes, a track star senior from across town. Maybe it was his soulful blue eyes, or maybe my hormones just started raging. Either way, I was hooked. And after a while, he was too. I couldn't believe how intense my feelings became, or the fact that I was seeing—and touching—parts of the body I'd only read about in my Gray's Anatomy textbook. You could say Wes and I experienced a lot of firsts together that spring. It was scary. It was fun. It was love.

And then came the fall.

You have no idea how much I wish I could have read this back when I was in HS =( It's a realistic story between two teenagers falling in love for the first time and their first time of having sex. And since power is knowledge, I think every teenagers should read this book. Just think of Anatomy Of A Boyfriend like a LOVE 101/ a guide book for your first time (what to expect) because it will walk you through all the things you need to know about love and sex. You will have a chance to know how love works.

1. How not to be an obsessive boyfriend/girlfriend, seriously though don't just drop everything else in your life (school, work, friends and family) and focus only on your boyfriend/girlfriend.  You may think that it's caring but let me tell you it's scaring.

2. How to realize it's time to let go and move on. It takes two to make a relationship so if the other person doesn't make the effort, you know what you have to do. Walk away, don't stay and be miserable.

3.  How to have a protected sex and make a responsible decision to have sex. And yes it was described in graphic detail but I don't think it's bad idea. It's just there to help you learn about sex, in an honest and a realistic way.

Besides Anatomy Of A Boyfriend is hilarious. It surprised me a lot because I thought this book would be intense and somewhat dramatic. I didn't think it'd be funny. I couldn't stop the smile spreading across my face (all all the embarrassment moments, the clueless and the part of figuring out what he means --> I know that I'm evil to laugh when they are miserable figuring out love but I just can't help it. It is really funny to watch that's all). And there's a little lesson near the end that I'm so happy that it's there 'Don't use text/phone/email when it comes to say the important thing *can't say the word, read the book and you know what I mean* because it's the lowest of the low.'

Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and probably would be crazy in love with it if I could have read it when I was younger (maybe 15 or so). Highly recommended for teens.
