When Addy is swept back in time, she couldn't be happier to leave her miserable life behind. Now she's mistaken for Lady Matilda, the pampered ward of the king. If Addy can play her part, she'll have glorious gowns, jewels, and something she's always longed for the respect and admiration of others. But then she meets Will, the falconer's son with sky blue eyes, who unsettles all her plans.

From shipwrecks to castle dungeons, from betrothals to hidden conspiracies, Addy finds herself in a world where she's not the only one with a dangerous secret. When she discovers the truth, Addy must take matters into her own hands. The stakes? Her chance at true love . . . and the life she's meant to live.
Historical fiction + time travel = my siren's song >.<
I don't really know why those kind of stories intrigued me but it did. I love the old English language that was being used, it sounded so charming in some ways. Whitman is so good at writing because she brought the world alive. I felt like I was living in that world. I could see it, the castle, the field and smell the air. It's just a wonderful experience.

I loved Addy. She is young but she is really thoughtful. Oh my I didn't know who the falconer's son was at first and I was so sad that they wouldn't end up together if Addy decided to go back. However as the story went on and Will said that he came from a box, I was squealing and did my happy dancing. A happy ending it is =) Yet the story is really predictable how it would end but I am sure you will have an amazing time reading it.

Overall this book had a great message like money cannot bring you happiness. So if you are in the mood for time travel then give this a shot ;)
