In this sequel to OF POSEIDON, Emma has just learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm below. Syrena law states that all Half- Breeds should be put to death.

As if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance among the Syrena turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Which leaves Emma with a decision to make: Should she comply with Galen’s request to keep herself safe and just hope for the best? Or should she risk it all and reveal herself—and her Gift—to save a people she’s never known?

After a huge cliff hanger in Of Poseidon, I had a really high hope for this one. So I dived right in when I got it and finished it in one sitting. I felt so happy right now. First of all this one didn't fail me, I was so worrying that I would be disappointed if my expectation was too high. Secondly I got all the answer I wanted: why Nalia left in the first place, or does she still love Grom or not? and how about Grom, was he mad that Nalia has a daughter? What about Galen and Emma, how things had changed from discover the secret about Emma's mother. What choice did Emma make, keep herself safe or reveal and save people she's never known. Yeah I know that's a lot of questions but don't worry because Of Triton will give you all the answer you need. Last but not least, Of Triton did not end with a cliff hanger. No it's not like I am not dying for book three because I still do. I need more Galen and Emma since in this one they didn't have much time together.

I don't know how book three would be like because it's hard for me to guess how the story would go. I know that Jaden is a problem and he won't stop until he gets what he wants. But I hope this series will have a happy ending and no more dying. Yup I don't want it to be a pattern, because in Of Poseidon and Of Triton, someone died (either close to Emma or Galen).

I pretty much enjoyed Of Triton even though I like Of Poseidon better. It's just in Of Poseidon, there was more Emma and Galen. But I love the cover of this one more than the first book. It just looks so magical and makes my heart melt every time I look at it.
